A useful contact list remembers more than a phone number. Flip Pro's Black Book keeps tradies, suppliers, agents and advisers together with the details that help you choose who to work with.

Search by name and use the contact-type filters to find the right record. In this walkthrough we're using Ava Sparks, a fictional electrician created for the demonstration. Selecting the row opens the contact details beside the directory.

The record includes the business, contact type, trade and contact details. Trade credentials have their own fields. Check the licence and insurance evidence yourself, and keep unknown information marked as unknown. A saved contact is not automatic verification of qualifications.

Use the contact form to keep details and notes current. Performance reviews can record the work, rating, quoted and final amounts, whether you would use the supplier again, and lessons from the job. That gives the next decision more context than a rating alone. The review shown here is fictional.

Project contacts connect the person to their role and the renovation work they have priced. From a project, Open in Black Book takes you to the matching record. The project view shows linked people, selected quotes and the work still needing supplier pricing.

Keep quote selection and supplier acceptance distinct. Review likely duplicates before attaching another record, and preserve clear notes about what has actually been confirmed.

Build the directory as you work. Start with the people involved in your current project, keep their evidence up to date, and make the next appointment with the context in front of you.
